Call for Submissions for the Summer/Fall Issue!

Lehigh Valley Literary Magazine is a literary nonprofit, established to create publishing and prize-winning opportunities for fiction, nonfiction, poetry, plays, and visual art. The magazine will publish annually. All creative work will be selected for publication based on creative merit and theme.

There are no entry fees to submit your writing or artwork, only guidelines for publications and prizes, which will be posted on the Submit page. For the first issue, works will be published online, and literary and art prizes will be announced closer to the publication date. You may submit one poem, short story, essay, or skit and one visual artwork that can be emailed to submit@lvliterature.org by June 9th.

Finalists will be awarded cash prizes in each contest, unless otherwise noted on the Prizes page. The finalists will also have the opportunity to contribute to an anthology that will be released at a later date.

Donations and proceeds from magazine and book sales ensure that Lehigh Valley Literary Magazine can continue to publish and fund literary and art prizes.

If you are associated with a business or nonprofit and would like to sponsor or partner with us on a project, please fill out the form on the Contact page.

As someone who values the support and feedback of an artistic community that cares about human rights and people, I welcome everyone who is passionate about culture, literature, art, and storytelling to submit to the magazine and to get involved in events announced on the Events page. Attend the online Q&A event on May 9th at 3:00 PM EST if you are interested in learning more.

Subscribe here to the monthly newsletter to be notified of upcoming contests, publications, and events.
