Themes for Issue 2:
Survival, Necessity, Healing, Health, Wellness, Fitness, and Leisure
Lehigh Valley Literary Magazine is accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, drama, and visual art for the Winter/Spring 2021-22 issue with any of the following themes: Survival, Necessity, Healing, Health, Wellness, Fitness, and Leisure. Each person may submit one poem, short story, essay, or act, and one visual artwork. Selections are based on clarity, style, and relevance to a theme. While there are no expectations for works to be perfect, we do encourage you to be original and to write in your own words. The same ideas of authenticity apply to visual art, too!
Write to: Editor@lvliterature.org by December 23rd!
Selected candidates will be notified after the December 23rd closing date. Written compositions and visual artwork are considered separately. When submitting to the Editor, please include your name, the title of your work with the date and place of its completion, the attached document(s), your contact information, and something you’d like to share about yourself in the email. If you are submitting a short story or essay, please indicate if it is a work of fiction or nonfiction. Prizes for the Winter/Spring issue will be announced closer to the publication date in the Prizes and News sections on this website. Selected candidates will receive prizes and the opportunity to be chosen for publication in an anthology scheduled for release in 2022.
There are no entry fees ever.
